Bill Gates and it's 5 year death prediction of television

Will TV be dead in the next 5 years? Well, according to Bill Gates this could perhaps be a possibility. On the World Economic Forum, Bill Gates predicted the disuse of television in next five years. "I'm stunned how people aren't seeing that with TV, in five years from now, people will laugh at what we've had".

As we see the powerful growth and speed of online video, TV as we know it might end up being just a piece of hardware which distribution will be powered by the internet.

Lets see if these predictions stand after all we only have 5 years to prove it.
